So I'm down in Montana for a while. It's cool. I'm getting a lot of stuff drawn because my computer is in a box in the closet. But you don't get to see it, because the scanner is back in Alaska. You know, Alaska, that place I'm from? Well, maybe not getting to see Teneart isn't really that ironic...
Also, Tene's bored as hell, which is why this journal entry exists.
Hi I was just looking at your art arena entry on gaia, and tried to pm this to you until I saw you had last logged in in 2004. In fact, I'm not sure you're gonna get this! Well I was looking at 'angel' , a BEAUTIFUL drawing I might add. I love the proportions and the depth of field... anyway you asked what it made us think of! I thought it was like a turning point in a war... maybe against humans with that angel intervening, or maybe between heaven and hell... and what I thought of as a background when I saw it was like a burned village, with tons of firey and depressing colors, although if you did it in a cold blue it would be really creepy and cool, with like all blackened and torn down huts and shtuff... It's a really fantastic drawing, keep it up! Hope you don't mind the suggestion.

I have a Gaia account still? How cool. That's like casting a piece of yourself out onto the waters, and having it come back...
There's really not a lot of room for background at this point (unless I add to the canvas digitally), but I think a burnt and ruined landscape would be quite all right, except I'm more likely to do it in dull tones and grays. Drifting ash, blackened buildings, a fire smouldering from behind clouds of smoke, rubble, etc.
So who or what do you think is at the end of that spear?
